Stained Glass Workshops

Glass Showroom offers professionally instructed stained glass classes and workshops for the artist in you. A free orientation is offered for those new to art glass.

Beginner Classes - $80.00

Class Includes:

• Professional Instructor
• 2½ hour sessions for 6 weeks
• Work Space
• You select a pattern of your choice or we will help you select a stained glass project appropriate to your skill level.
• Instructions for individual piece shaping and grinding.

Your instructor will demonstrate, work directly with you, monitor and assist with your progress. You will learn the basics of:

• Drawing your pattern and pattern layout
• Glass marking techniques
• Hand cutter, grozer use, and various others tools
• Cutting curves, circles and straight lines
• Fitting (individual piece shaping and grinding)
• Copper Foil Application and / or Lead Came Construction
• Soldering techniques
• Finishing

You will be required to purchase your glass supplies and hand tools that are required as you progress. A student supply and equipment list will be provided at time of class.
